Bijoux de la Mer: Jewels of the Sea



	Dee and Brion Moorhead have turned their Victorian mini farm, tucked away in a quiet corner of the Hamptons, into a creative haven. The serene setting - an art studio overlooking a horse pasture, a waterfall and Japanese Koi pond, the peaceful atmosphere, and the nearby ocean, have all inspired these two talented artists. They have collaborated for more than five years to design and produce BIJOUX DE LA MER their original luxe collection of pewter table art designs. Brion, a detail carpenter and illustrator, specializes in Victorian homes. His work has been seen in Country Living, Architecture Details and featured on HGTV shows. Brion is known for his commissioned illustrations of historic Hampton’s homes.
	Dee’s award winning designs include needlepoint pillows and rugs, a collector’splate of under sea life and mermaids for the Danbury Mint and children’s’ book illustrations. Celebrities and Hamptonites wear Dee’s unique necklace designs of glass and vintage beads with semi-precious materials that are shown in East End galleries and her boutique D.J. Hart in Sag Harbor, NY. The Moorhead’s love of nature and their surroundings led them to create the designs in the Art Nouveau style for their heirloom quality flatware and table accessories in their BIJOUX DE LA MER collection.
